At Brixham Does Care and The Friends Centre our volunteers involve themselves in every aspect and without them we simply could not achieve our aims. Each and every one of our volunteers give up their time to help us and we are deeply indebted to this time and the energy devoted to your local charity. Brixham Does Care formally acknowledges the contribution made and annually holds a Volunteers Day.
Here is what a few of our current volunteers say:
‘I had never done charity work in the past but since retiring a few years ago, I cant think of anywhere else I’d rather be. I am always glad that I found BDC, they do so much for the local people’
‘Helping in BDC is fulfilling with a lovely mix of people of all ages that you would always wish to meet’
‘Volunteering has been a reward in itself. I have enjoyed 17 years of fun and friendship whilst supporting the community’
